WILLSBORO, NY — On October 10, 2026, 54 participants and numerous volunteers participated in the annual fall half-marathon or five-mile trail race at Pok-O-MacCready Camps known as the Pond Sprint.
The event raised over $4,000 to benefit the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation and the Long Pond Conservancy.
"Thank you to all the volunteers that make this event possible, to the generosity of all who donated, and to Pok-O MacCready Camps for being such wonderful hosts" said event coordinators Jacob Gittler and Andrew Gonzalez. "The Pond Sprint has become one of the marquee events of the Adirondack calendar, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come!"
