120th Reunion Brings In $31K For Scholarships - Adirondack Scholarship Foundation

Pok-O-MacCready Camps celebrated their 120th reunion from August 21 - 24, 2025. Current and former campers and staff participated in swimming, fishing, hiking, and numerous ways to support the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.

Led by board member Tricia Woodward and Executive Director Erik Zimmerman, fundraising events included a penny social raffle, live and silent auctions, a golf tournament, and merchandise sales.

Overall, the festivities brought in over $31,000 to help send more students to summer camp.

The silent and live auctions included historic camp memorabilia.

Thanks to all who provided auction and raffle items, participated in the fundraisers, and donated funds. Special thanks are in order for:

Golf Tournament
Oliver Moody did amazing work organizing this tournament from afar and on-site during the weekend. David Balderston was also a key organizer. Tom and Betsy Balderston donated to cover the cost of the greens fees, allowing each player to have their entire $60 fee be considered a donation.

Auctions
Tricia Woodward did a remarkable job organizing and running the three different auctions, in addition to contributing countless hours of embroidery work for the dozens of purses, pouches, wall hangings, and other crafts that she made for people to bid on and buy.

Andee Bucciarelli and Ken "Squeaky" Herz were also key organizers and collectors of merchandise for the auctions. Squeaky and Laura Potel did fantastic work as the live auctioneers. Caroline Fearn donated 100 hand made prints that were auctioned off and also sold individually.
