Scholarship recipients must be aged 6 - 16 and plan to attend Pok-O-MacCready Camps in Willsboro, NY.

Scholarship recipients come from a variety of states and countries. Scholarships are granted to both new and returning campers.
Certain members of the Board of Directors, with input from camp administration, meet annually to review applicants. Candidates are chosen by a variety of criteria, including:
  •      Financial need (both full and partial scholarships are awarded)
  •      Personality, character and relationship with peers
  •      Recommendation and reference
The Adirondack Scholarship Foundation does not discriminate based on race, religion or nationality.
There is no set number of scholarships awarded each year. The number of awards depends on the level of giving from our generous donors.

For the 2023 camp season, 60 campers received full or partial scholarships.
The financial need of each applicant determines scholarship awards. Most awards are partial scholarships to help ease the financial burden for as many camp families as possible.

For the 2023 camp season, awards ranged from $300 to $8,640.
Applications open October 1 each year.

Early bird registration for Pok-O-MacCready Camps also opens on October 1. We recommend registering as early as possible to receive this discounted rate.
The deadline to return the scholarship application, personal statements and references is December 31.

Late applications will receive, at best, lesser consideration and, at worst, no consideration.
Pok-O-MacCready Camps is a family-owned summer camp in New York's Adirondack region. Campers aged 6 - 16 achieve independence, create lifelong friendships, and develop a deep appreciation of the natural world.
