The Adirondack Scholarship Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children. We provide camper families with financial assistance to attend Pok-O-MacCready Camps, and facilitate access to other Adirondack children’s camps and institutions. We provide this assistance to the families of children from all races, genders, orientations, abilities and other identities. In a world increasingly dominated by virtual interactions and disregard for the environments in which we live, we believe there is formative power in this unique Adirondack summer camp experience that promotes stewardship, builds character, and forms friendships that last a lifetime.

Welcome New Board Member!
The Adirondack Scholarship Foundation is pleased to introduce Candace Clark Trinchieri (Candi) as the newest member of the Board of Directors.
Candi brings a variety of skills and experiences to our team. She currently works as an author having published two non-fiction books including Dream Redefined: The Struggle and Success Through Infertility as A Woman of Color and has two more books on the way. Previous roles include working as a legislative research analyst, as a manager for both the National Infertility Association and Cancer Support Community, and for the Alzheimer's Association, Urban Development in San Francisco, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Georgia.
Candi attended Camp MacCready in the 1980's, and has a 10-year old son who will be heading into the Intermediate Section this summer in his third year at camp. Former ADKSF Director Tim Singer recommended Candi and cited her "camp experience, business savvy, camper/parent/family perspective on Pok-O, and intimate understanding of diversity and inclusion" as strengths she could bring to the ADKSF Board.
Candi says that her experience and her son's experience "only serve to make [her] more dedicated in ensuring as many kids as possible have the opportunity to experience the Poko magic."
Congratulations and welcome, Candi!
