Longtime Pok-O-MacCready camp family member Brianna Livsey McDonough has joined the board of directors of the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.
With three decades of camp experience - as a child of longtime staff parents, a camper, a staff member and a proud alumna - McDonough is "thrilled to join the board and work to make Pok-O summers possible for children of all backgrounds."
McDonough's main role will be to head up the new Emerging Leaders faction of the foundation board. She is currently in the process of recruiting a group of contemporaries to assist her in her mission. "In the role of managing the Emerging Leaders board, my goal is to leverage young, fervent camp alumni to help market a cause they are all passionate about."
Adirondack Scholarship Foundation board president John Andrews added, "Brianna is a perfect fit for the goals of our board, in particular, bringing in younger members who will both add fresh ideas for the present, and help to run the foundation in the future!"
