Fund Raising Activities
They’ve become Pok-O-MacCready traditions: Fun, popular reunions designed to bring friends and family together, as well as raise funds for the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation.
Remember: You don’t have to attend to make a donation... and you don’t have to donate to attend.

Held in conjunction with Alumni & Family Camp, the 46-in-a-Day is Pok-O-MacCready’s annual challenge to have a member of the camp family on top of the 46 peaks over 4000 feet in the Adirondacks all in one day! 82 climbers, supporters and donors took part in 2007, raising over $3,000. The Patch Sprint
May 23, 2009
|
|
This annual adventure race over the Pok-O Patch mountains also serves as a reunion of camp friends of all ages.
There are divisions for hard core racers, novice and intermediate runners, volunteers, children and trekkers who would like to walk the course. All proceeds go to the Adirondack Scholarship Foundation; In 2008, over $6000 was raised by the 150+ participants. Held in conjunction with the semi-annual alumni work weekend, the Patch Sprint also hosts a pre-race pasta supper, a race expo, merchandise, a post-race awards party and an auction.
